Solar Inverter Duty Transformer is meant for converting low voltage into high voltage and feeding into a power grid. This transformer is also known as Convertor Duty or Inverter Duty transformer. They are designed in such a way that they can resist Harmonic currents caused by the rectifier or inverter. Alongside, a copper static shield is also provided separately to resist radio frequent disturbance. For these transformers, the design is carried out with multiple winding. For instance, three-winding or four-winding transformers make 6 pulses and 12 pulses transformers. Maintaining proper mechanical and electrical properties is an important part of designing such transformers ensuring good performance with the safety of all the electrical equipment.
